The Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation has supported the community since 2001. They focus primarily on ‘improving the lives of people with serious mental illness by investing in innovative projects in Northeast Ohio having transformational impact’. That is why we are very humbled and grateful to receive grant support for our new drop in center for youth. The Street Outreach Services (SOS) drop in center will give much-needed services to youth between the ages of 16 and 21 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We know that the great majority of these young people have suffered with abuse, neglect, trauma and mental illness. Working together with the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation, we can help offer a safe haven and lead young people to the excellent services offered in Summit County which can change lives.
